STUDIO

Oasis Landscape Architecture (OLA) is a Sarasota based design studio specializing in complex and detail oriented place making and design throughout southwest Florida and Charleston, South Carolina.
OLA is dedicated to elevating the outdoor experience through thoughtful and innovative design. We recognize the importance the outdoors have in shaping the social fabric of our communities, and we are committed to creating vibrant, inclusive, and inviting environments that enrich the lives of all who experience them.
At the core of our design philosophy is a deep understanding of our clients’ desires and the translation of those needs into spatial design. We believe meaningful and thoughtful design emerges from engaging and collaborative communication between client and designer.
Through this approach we create client infused designs that bring synergy to the complex relationships between nature, architecture and the human experience.

TEAM

ARRON DIEDRICH, PLA

FOUNDER + CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Arron Diedrich, PLA, is the Founder and Creative Director of Oasis Landscape Architecture (OLA), a Sarasota-based landscape architecture studio recognized for its thoughtful approach to residential, hospitality, and community design throughout Florida and the Southeast.
Arron’s work is rooted in the relationship between architecture, nature, and the human experience. He believes the most meaningful landscapes emerge from a careful understanding of place; its architecture, ecology, climate, and the people who inhabit it. His approach seeks to reveal the inherent character of each site while creating landscapes that are immersive, intuitive, and deeply personal.
Arron leads the creative direction of every OLA project, from its earliest conceptual ideas through design and realization. Working closely with clients, architects, builders, and craftspeople, he guides the design process with a highly personal and considered approach, bringing clarity to complex decisions while maintaining a singular vision for the project. Each landscape is conceived as a unique response to its client and setting, creating environments that are distinctive, enduring, and inseparable from the architecture they surround.
Based in Sarasota, Arron draws continued inspiration from Florida’s subtropical environment and architectural heritage. He is an active member of Architecture Sarasota and remains engaged in the region’s dialogue surrounding architecture, landscape architecture, preservation, and design.

JOSEPH IANTOSCA

DESIGN ASSOCIATE

A graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Joe brings a thoughtful and analytical perspective to landscape design, grounded in an understanding of the relationship between the built and natural environment. His approach considers ecology, spatial organization, and human experience as interconnected elements of a larger landscape.

Joe is particularly interested in how proportion, movement, atmosphere, and vegetation can shape the character of a place. His work balances functionality with a sensitivity to existing site conditions, contributing to landscapes that are purposeful, engaging, and responsive to their surroundings.

Originally from Dedham, Massachusetts, Joe brings an additional perspective through his background in geographic information systems (GIS), using an understanding of land, history, and development patterns to inform the design process. At Oasis, he applies this analytical foundation across projects of varying scales, helping translate complex site conditions into clear and thoughtful design solutions.

JON ADAMS

DESIGNER

Jon believes meaningful landscapes have the ability to shape experience and create lasting emotional connections. His interest in the built environment began at an early age through an appreciation for thoughtfully choreographed spaces, where landscape, architecture, material, light, and movement come together to influence how a place is experienced.

A graduate of Auburn University, Jon’s design approach explores the relationship between landscape, architecture, and the natural systems that define a place. He is particularly interested in atmosphere, materiality, and the careful orchestration of movement to create landscapes that feel immersive, intuitive, and connected to their surroundings.

At Oasis, Jon brings a thoughtful and collaborative perspective to the design process, contributing to the development of landscapes that strengthen the relationship between people, nature, and place.
